Beyond being a restaurant dishing up great food, 18 Chefs is a social enterprise.It has helped delinquents and ex-offenders in giving them a second chance; getting employed and allow them to return and contribute to society.
In the past few years, it has gotten rave reviews from locals and successfully expanded from 1 to 4 branches, while continuing to make an impact on society.
We've the privilege of having, Mr. Bambang Widjaja, Operations Director of 18 Chefs to come down to NYP, to give the 1st ever social entrepreneurship talk in school. He will be sharing his experiences and introducing what are social enterprises.
